Antonio Ruffa, Executive Chef/Owner of Caffe Piazza and CP Caterings was born in Calabria, Italy in 1976. He received his Art and Culinary degree from the Institute of State in 1993. Antonio was fortunate to work at some of the finest hotels in Milano Marittima, Italy, including the 4 star hotels “Grand Hotel” and the renown “Hotel Rouge”. With over 18 years of experience in the restaurant and catering business, Antonio’s enthusiasm for serving mouth-watering cuisine continues to impress.

Antonio was one of four children and migrated to the US in 1993. His passion for food and the restaurant/catering business made it possible for him to make the difficult transition to life in a foreign country. That same passion also made it possible for him to achieve his goals, both professional and personal. But where did that passion come? Antonio was clearly inspired by his mother, Francesca, spending countless hours in the kitchen with her, absorbing everything she taught him. He just loved cooking with her and preparing meals for the entire family.

Antonio thoroughly enjoys all aspects of the business, from the creativity he is able to bring to the table, to his ever faithful customers who have come to trust and respect him. It has been a dream come true for Antonio Ruffa to travel to America, establish a truly fine restaurant and catering business, and especially serve the grateful customers he is so appreciative of.
